These stuffed peppers are made with paleo friendly ingredients and this is one of my favorite recipes because I love beef and red peppers are on my list of preferred vegetables! I made these using grass fed ground beef from ButcherBox. This post contains affiliate links.
I’d like to shake the hand of the person who originally invented stuffed peppers! It’s like a burger with mushrooms stuffed inside a bell pepper. Stuffed peppers. Maybe I should use the filling recipe to make homemade burgers sometime. Remind me to try that, will you?
If your newer to cooking, you don’t have to worry about this recipe because it is very simple. You just clean out the peppers, cook the filling and spoon it into the peppers before baking them. No big fancy steps, just good simple food.
I made these for lunch because I was craving them and decided it was a good time to take some photos and a video to show you how to make these stuffed peppers. I used grass fed ground beef from my ButcherBox to make these stuffed peppers.
Have you heard of ButcherBox? They deliver grass fed meat right to your door and I love the idea of having meat sent to my house. You can pick all beef for your box (100% grass fed), organic chicken, heritage breed pork or a combination of all three. Since you heard about them here you’ll get a 10% discount and a free package of bacon if you use the code tryanything at checkout. (Click here.) You can see what I received in my first box if you scroll down a little.
This is a recipe I contributed over at FoodFanatic.com and this recipe is adapted from La Rousse.
