Peanut Butter Cookies
Hey mom, remember when you used to buy me my own jar of peanut butter? I still love it the same, if not more than I did when I was little. These peanut butter cookies are totally worth dipping into my precious.
I whipped these up in the morning while Tay was eating her breakfast. They were baked, cooled and in her lunch bag before we had to leave. Yeah, I was totally “on the ball” that day, but it doesn’t happen often!
Cookies make me happy and peanut butter makes me smile. It doesn’t matter that these cookies are gluten free, they’re delicious. Call it whatever you want.
I did eat more than my fair share of these but I can’t tell you how many because I didn’t count. (Oops.)
Ethan suggested that they would make excellent ends to an ice cream sandwich and he was soooo right. These cookies are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, firm enough to be the ends of an ice cream sandwich as long as I am careful with it.
They truly melt in your mouth.
This recipe is from a friend who has really grabbed my attention with her recipes. I could bake my way through her blog and be very happy, in fact she has a cake that I’m planning to make in the near future.
Every recipe that she has shared is now a family favorite here in the Try Anything Once house and these cookies are no exception. I just had to brag about these cookies to you. That’s how good they are.
