I Tried ButcherBox Grass Fed Beef Delivery
Before I dive into the details, keep in mind you can order more than beef from ButcherBox. Since I’m head over heels for steak and burgers, all grass fed beef was my choice.
Now, on to the box!
My first concern was keeping the meat cold especially since at the time, it’s pretty warm. The meat came frozen and it was packed with dry ice so there was no question about temperature. Gold star for that!
When I received the box I hadn’t cooked with grass fed beef more than a few times so the recipe cards and information about the different cuts was a good introduction for me and the recipes really inspired me to make this ribeye steak.
To try something just a little different I made stuffed peppers with the ground beef. You’re gonna love them!
ButcherBox delivers 100% grass-fed beef, organic chicken and Heritage Breed pork straight to your door.
You can also order add-ons like a 10 oz. pack of uncured sugar free bacon, bone-in pork chops and Singing Prairie breakfast sausage. (These add-ons are available at the time of this post. Please visit the website for current information.)
I’d be excited to try a mixed box because I was satisfied with the quality of the beef and when it comes to our daily meals, my daughter and I like to vary our meats but my preference is beef. Who knows, that could change in the future. 🙂
