Crispy Beef Tacos with Sabra’s Guacamole Veggie Fusions
Do you save tacos for Tuesdays (Taco Tuesday theme) or do you just make tacos when you’re craving a savory treat inside of a crispy corn shell? I recommend grabbing what you need to make tonight taco night and try this Veggie Fusions Guacamole from Sabra. I’m a sucker for guacamole and since we love meat (especially beef these days) I look for ways to get some extra veggies when we can so this guacamole is a good idea.
I used to crave crispy tacos regularly and there was this little spot at the mall by my house that made insanely good crispy tacos and by my request, they laid the guacamole on pretty thick. I love guacamole on my tacos. And on my spoon. When I received my guacamole shipment from Sabra, the first thing I did was grab a spoon and start tasting. No regrets! I’m just getting some veggies. 😉
For taco night at home, this is my go to way of serving them. Simply ground beef (I like to grind beef chuck at home), cheese, lettuce, tomato and guacamole. Sour cream is optional. If you love guac too, let me know what you think of these Veggie Fusions. It’s made with real crisp vegetables and has 30% less fat than classic guacamole. They have three flavors to chose from: South Western (my favorite), Mango Lime and Garden Vegetable (Tay’s favorite).
Sabra is giving away a $1.00 coupon so grab yours before you head over to the store.
So go ahead and “beef” up your veggie intake by adding a dollop of Sabra’s Guacamole Veggie Fusions atop your homemade crispy beef tacos.
I’m sharing the spice blend I use at home below just in case you don’t have or want to use a packet and you’d like to try seasoning your own taco meat. I also recommend grinding your own beef if you have a grinder or an attachment on your kitchen mixer we LOVE buying a chuck roast and grinding our own beef at home.
Here’s what the package looks like. Now go get some and enjoy your taco night!
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cumin
- ¼ onion powder
- salt and pepper
- Sprinkle on top of beef while cooking.
- Serve cooked beef with your favorite taco toppings.
I think it’s neat-o that Sabra now has guacamole! But you know they do still have their hummus and it makes a really good and shockingly fast snack before dinner. Grab a cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice and something to dip! Check this out:
