Leftover Halloween Candy: Peanut Butter Cups
Do you recall when I whipped up my Asian inspired peanut sauce? I made that with peanut butter cups. Yep, leftover candy turned into a winning dinner dish that was actually very impressive. Smooth texture with a balance of sweet, rich and lively flavors that sang such a beautiful culinary harmony. Peanut butter cups are my #1 favorite candy and you would think that there would be no problem with the big bag my sister gave me. Well, there wasn’t a problem but I sure didn’t want to eat them all. My will was strong, but so are my cravings. I didn’t want to sneak them all to myself. Although I don’t mind jean shopping since I can do that online, I didn’t want to buy bigger sizes right before the holidays. I’d only have to buy more after the holiday season anyway.
Halloween Candy Recipes
I love sweets. I have a sweet tooth and I endure the savory to get at my sweets. I’ve been good this year and indulged a lot in seasonal fruits mixed with the veg, making healthier versions of foods I enjoy and also just flat out saying no. I don’t like that word. I do enjoy my morning smoothies with a delightful blend of fruits and veggies, but I think it’s time to indulge a little. Make some treats, share them with friends and make some fun memories! So for now, it’s time to make some desserts with leftover candy! Or dinner, whichever you prefer. I’ve come across some goodies on Pinterest that may catch your eye so get pin happy with me once again! Let me know if you have any savory recipes for leftover candy.
